Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Spawnlist (the "Service"), the multiplayer game-server directory at spawnlist.gg. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Who we are

Spawnlist is an online directory where players discover game servers and server owners list theirs. You can reach us at support@spawnlist.gg.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be old enough to consent to online services where you live. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. If you list a server on behalf of someone else, you confirm you're authorized to do so.

3. Listings & your content

You may list only real, playable servers you own or are authorized to represent, with accurate information. We verify that servers respond (automated connection checks) and review submissions — automatically and by human moderators. We may edit, reject, delist, or remove any listing, review, or upload at our discretion, especially for breaking these Terms or theCommunity Guidelines.

You keep ownership of what you submit (listing text, media, reviews). You grant Spawnlist a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the directory. You're responsible for having the rights to everything you submit.

4. Reviews & votes

Reviews must be honest and first-hand. Votes are subject to our anti-fraud rules. Don't manipulate either — no bots, fake accounts, vote-buying, or coordinated ballot-stuffing. We may exclude, reweight, or remove reviews and votes that look inauthentic.

5. Rankings are earned, not sold

The directory ranking is determined by earned signals — genuine votes, verified uptime and ratings — together with anti-fraud measures. Paid placement never changes the earned ranking."Featured", "Promoted" and "Premium" placements are clearly labelled and sit in their own areas. We don't guarantee any particular ranking, amount of traffic, or results from listing or from a paid placement.

6. Paid services & billing

Server owners can optionally pay for:

• Featured placement — one-time boosts (1, 3 or 7 days) or a monthly subscription, priced in euros, sold as a limited number of slots per game.
• Spawnlist Premium — a monthly subscription that unlocks listing perks (a badge, advanced analytics, a pinned announcement and a screenshot gallery). Perks never affect ranking.
• Vote credit — credit earned from the votes your server receives, redeemable for one-time featured boosts. It has no cash value, isn't transferable or redeemable for money, and may expire.

Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime — your placement or Premium continues until the end of the period you've paid for, and then stops. We may change prices for future renewals with reasonable notice.

Right of withdrawal & refunds

Paid placements are digital services that begin immediately. By starting one, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the EU 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has begun. One-time boosts start right away. Subscriptions can be cancelled to stop future renewals; the current paid period is generally non-refundable, though we may grant refunds at our discretion. If we remove a listing for violating these Terms or the Guidelines, any active paid placement may be withdrawn without a refund. None of this limits mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under EU or Spanish law.

7. Acceptable use

Follow the Community Guidelines. Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware or scams, harass anyone, or interfere with the Service's operation or security.

8. Third-party servers

Listings are submitted by users. We don't operate, endorse, or guarantee any listed server, and we're not responsible for your experience on them. Connecting to a third-party server is at your own risk and subject to that server's own rules.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listing information is accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spawnlist is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability that can't be excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access, and remove content, if you breach these Terms or the Guidelines, or to protect the Service and its users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights of the country where you live. Disputes are subject to the competent courts, again without limiting consumer protections available to you.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
