Community Minecraft: Java servers

Community servers sell the people, not the feature list. Most are long-running SMPs with an application or a whitelist, an active Discord, and staff who know the regulars by name — which is the point: builds survive, group projects get finished, and drama gets handled. The cost is friction, so expect to fill in a form or sit in a Discord for a day before you get in. If you want to log in anonymously and start mining, look elsewhere.
